“Nate had been in the Community Treatment Home program for a year and was doing fairly well, but occasionally had problems with his anger and getting along with others. We worked on those goals weekly and I developed a good, trusting relationship with him. He was 16 then and his permanency plan was Independent Supported Living, so he took the independent living classes and graduated. He is doing very well. He has his own apartment, a job and just started classes at the community college. He also keeps in contact with his community treatment home family and visits them quite often. He called me a couple of weeks ago to tell me how well he is doing.”
