Boys & Girls Town Golf Tourney Surpasses Goal & Raises More Than $70,000

St. Louis, Mo. (June 25, 2007) – The Boys & Girls Town of Missouri 21st Annual Golf Tournament raised more than $70,000 to help support abused and neglected children in treatment programs.

The tournament was held at Glen Echo Country Club and included 18 holes of golf, a silent and live auction and dinner reception that followed the tournament. Special guest, Ed Goodman of KEZK’s morning show, emceed the live auction.  

“Boys & Girls Town would like to thank our sponsors, community members and volunteers for making this golf tournament so successful,” said Kathy O’Brien, regional vice president of the Eastern region for Boys & Girls Town. “We are so grateful to the community for their continued support for the children we serve.” 

Grand prize winners were Ron Koch, Clark Amos, Greg Fuesting and Bairie Nichols who represented First Bank. 

Aerofil Technology served as the event sponsor and Archway Sales, Inc. was the reception sponsor. Major corporate sponsors included Robert E. Miller Insurance Agency and Save-A-Lot.
