Kathy Kallman Named the Regional Family and Outreach Therapist
for Boys & Girls Town of Missouri’s South Central Region
St. James, Mo. (July 2, 2007) – After 35 years, Kathy Kallman’s dream of one day becoming a therapist and helping children and families has come true. She has been named Regional Family and Outreach Therapist for Boys & Girls Town of Missouri based in St. James.
In addition to providing therapy to families of children placed at Boys & Girls Town and aftercare therapy when a child returns home, Kallman will also provide services to members of the community as a family and/or individual therapist.
“My husband, Michael, recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army after 28 years of service,” said Kallman. “During his career we moved 12 times. Just prior to his retirement we decided to stay in the area, so it is the perfect time to pursue my dream of helping children and their families.”
Kallman has a master’s degree in counseling and psychology from Troy State University and she is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
