Boys & Girls Town Seeks Sponsors and Golfers for the 22nd Annual Golf Tournament

St. James, Mo. (July 23, 2007) – Boys & Girls Town of Missouri’s 22nd Annual Board & Friends Golf Tournament is taking place on Monday, August 27th at Oak Meadow Country Club in Rolla, Mo. The tournament previously has been held at St. James Golf Course.

“Although our move to Oak Meadow is exciting and new, it was a difficult decision because of our long, great history with St. James Golf Club,” said Steve Bowles, chairman of the golf committee. “We have had to turn teams away the past few years, so we knew it was time to move. The response has been great and Oak Meadow Country Club will give us a great opportunity to gather up old and new friends to play golf.”

There are several ways you can help abused and neglected children in treatment programs at Boys & Girls Town.

Play in the tournament. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a shot gun start at 12:00 p.m. Cost for the tournament is $450 per foursome, which includes lunch, beverages, awards reception and tournament gift.

Become a sponsor. Major sponsorships are $1,200, which includes one foursome for the tournament, banner signage at the course entrance, individual recognition at the awards ceremony and recognition on all printed materials. Other sponsorships include exclusive hole sponsorships at $250 and birdie sponsorships at $100.

For more information contact Crystal Bahr, development coordinator, at crystal.bahr@bgtm.org or 265-3251.
