Autographed Tote Bags to “Handbags of Hope” Fundraiser

Springfield, Mo. (Sept. 12, 2007) – This just in moments ago…mark your calendars: on Thursday, September 20, 2007…in just 8 days…Boys & Girls Town of Missouri will be hosting its 2nd Annual Hand Bags of Hope Fundraiser which will benefit Boys & Girls Town’s Springfield area youth who have been victims of abuse and neglect.

According to our sources, Oscar-winning actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie has donated an autographed handbag and actor and activist Brad Pitt has donated an autographed messenger bag, which will be auctioned off at the event.

The event will also feature a silent auction of purses from local merchants and a live auction of other celebrity purses. The luncheon begins at 10:30 a.m. The big event is to be held at Highland Springs Country Club at 5400 S. Highland Springs Blvd.
