Joni Pfenenger Joins Boys & Girls Town of Missouri
Regional Board of Trustees for the Columbia Campus

Columbia, Mo. (Aug. 11, 2008) – Joni Pfenenger recently joined the board of trustees for Boys & Girls Town of Missouri Central Region based in Columbia.

Pfenenger is originally from Jefferson City. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri.  A mother of four children, she has been involved first hand throughout her life with issues facing troubled children. Growing up on a farm, her father and mother were foster parents to more than 100 children. She and her husband, George, own Socket Communications.

In 2007, Boys & Girls Town of Missouri’s Central Region served more than 500 children and family members through residential and community outreach treatment programs.
