First Community National Bank Helps Make the Holidays Brighter
For Children at Boys & Girls Town of Missouri
St. James, Mo. (Dec. 11, 2008) – First Community National Bank is helping to make the holidays brighter for troubled children by collecting toys and gifts for children in the care of Boys & Girls Town of Missouri. Many children in the care of Boys & Girls Town don’t have family with whom they can spend the holidays, are unable to be with their families, or live with foster families who cannot afford gifts. In some cases, the toys collected from this drive will be the only gifts a child receives.
First Community National Bank will be collecting toys at the following locations through December 23.
- Rolla North Financial Center, 2323 N. Bishop Ave. in Rolla
- Rolla South Financial Center, 212 S. Bishop Ave. in Rolla
- FCNB Insurance – The Rhea Agency, 122 N. Jefferson Ave. in St. James
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Boys & Girls Town Toy Drive. As a family-owned bank, we do our best to give back to the communities we serve. We count it as a privilege and honor to be able to make Christmas wishes come true for the children at Boys & Girls Town,” said Kenny Barnes, community president of Rolla South.
Donated items will be used as holiday gifts for children served by all Boys & Girls Town of Missouri campuses and also will be used to celebrate children’s birthdays throughout the year.
