Progressive Trail Design Builds Biking Trail for Children
at Boys & Girls Town of Missouri

St. James, Mo. (March 27, 2009) – Progressive Trail Design, a professional bike trail design company of Fayetteville, Ark., recently donated a week of their time to design and build a mountain biking trail at the Meramec Learning Center, a program of Boys & Girls Town of Missouri.

Residents at Boys & Girls Town assisted Progressive Trail Design with the project. Residents helped to manicure and finish the trail after the company cleared the trail with machinery. By helping with the project, the children were able to learn about creating trails amidst natural environment and the benefits for conservation and preservation of natural resources.

At the Meramec Learning Center in Steelville Boys & Girls Town of Missouri offers programs designed to develop young people of character and integrity and to build stronger relationships and communities through therapeutic recreational activities such as camping, hiking, mountain biking and cycling.
