Boys & Girls Town of Missouri to Host ‘Dazzling’ Event this Saturday

Springfield, MO (March 1, 2010) – Boys & Girls Town of Missouri’s annual Diamond Night, an elegant evening of dinner, dancing and diamonds, will be held this Saturday, March 6 at 6 p.m. at Highland Springs Country Club. The event aims to give Springfield area children, who have been victims of abuse and neglect or suffer from emotional or behavioral problems, a glimmer of hope for a positive future.

The evening will be emceed by Tom Trtan of KOLR 10, and will include a cocktail reception, silent jewelry auction, and dinner followed by dancing. Music will be provided by both Stanton Strings and The Geezers. Guests will have a chance to bid on a variety of spectacular jewelry pieces from local jewelers, with all proceeds benefitting treatment programs for children who are victims of abuse and neglect or suffer from emotional and behavioral problems in the Greene County area.
