Springfield, MO (November 17, 2011)- In May, Boys & Girls Town of Missouri received a grant from The Gardens Senior Living Community for a new program, Gardening, Games and Giggles! Six months in, the program has been a smash success! The program pairs boys living on campus with seniors living at The Gardens for light gardening work, games and fun activities aimed to help grow friendships. Recently, the mixed generations enjoyed helping each other plant mums and mulch landscaping beds.  Future activities include Christmas cookie decorating and board game night!
